Herd on East Pasture (collar fixes):

  • River, Rice, Rain, Eenie, Stamps, Happy, Jersey, Pepsi
  • Blossom (calf) — on River's fix
  • Beany (bull) — South Pasture cluster → herd centroid

With no stored fences, "which pasture" is decided by nearest centroid. Beany's pre-move fix fell inside South Pasture's Voronoi cell — the records said East Pasture, the geometry said otherwise. The move drops him at the centre of East Pasture's cell.

Voronoi partition — East Pasture and its neighbours

Each pasture's territory drawn from its herd centroid (nearest-centroid / Voronoi). East Pasture's cell is filled; the black line is its boundary with South Pasture, Water Meadow and The Paddock. Both pastures' collar fixes are plotted — the South Pasture bull Ferdinand is highlighted, and Beany's before and after positions are shown against the boundary.

Neighbour centroids are computed from each pasture's own collar snapshot; the clip rectangle is arbitrary, so cell areas here are illustrative — the boundary lines are the point.
